Hi,
I thought you'd enjoy reading this Glayzer / Rozena comparison, it's exactly what one would hope for when searching for it :) |

Whatever scale they're using to translate the Butterfly hardness rating to ESN is way off

Do you mean that the Rozena is closer to the R42 while the Glayzer goes along the R47?

Butterfly rates Rozena as 35, Tenergy as 36, and Glayzer at 38. The sponge hardness rating and the feeling of the rubber can always differ, but I think a loose rule of thumb is to add roughly 10 degrees to Butterflys rating to get ESN scale. Glayzer feels less like ESN50 and more like ESN47.5 for me

Having used rozena for some time I made the switch to glayzer on bh and glayzer09c on fh, and have been using them for 4-5 months now.
Absolutely great rubber when brand new, tons of grip and spin, nothing weird about it. I always found rozena to be a bit soft for me esp on fh, but it still makes a great bh rubber if you like medium hardness rubbers. |
