Since PB came out to the market a few years ago, there was so many different opinions about which blades would suit better to plastic ball. Now,  It has been a few years and now we´ve got a better knowledge of it´s behavior and how the game has changed with it.

Which kind of blades do you find to be better and why? You rather prefer stiffer or flexy blades? Which outer plies? Thicker clipper like or Thinner?

stiffer and slightly thicker blades are better for ABS balls.
The reason is that you need to let the ball dig deep into the sponge to deliver a quality shot.
And for that type of shot, stiffer blades offer more stability and control, yet barely reduce spin.

Now for hard vs soft blades and rubbers, that depends more on players' preferences.
For example, euro control brush loopers will prefer soft to medium rubbers and blade for easy ball acceleration, so that they can keep playing short wristy strokes with decent speed.
Players that can generate their own power and have very good footwork will prefer medium to hard rubbers with medium to hard blades. Ball acceleration and low gear will be poor, but high gear is great and stable. Just needs more work for the whole body. But this setup is much more prone to humidity.

Outer plys are also mainly a thing of preference, but we can see that the trend of outer plys used by pros playing effectively shifted from limba to koto. I think it's because koto is a bit better for speed and for backhand.

This is what I got from talking to many decent regional players here in southern Germany and through the process of finding a suitable blade for ABS era. (Which is, in case you are interested, the persson powerplay. It is medium-hard and medium stiffness.)

I mostly agree to you.... btw what do you think about hinoki as outer ply?  Dont you think it's really rubber dependant and requires from 43° to harder sponges?  Is Aruna still playing with dame JRE? I cant believe he's still playing with that soft/slow blade...i guess you're referring to every sort of balls.

I don't think Hinoki is rubber dependant. In my experience, either you love Hinoki or you hate it. It has that extra bounce which makes it unique. Combine that with overly soft rubber and you get a laser gun. You can still play soft/bouncy blades in PB era, but then you need to use thick blades and/or add carbon. But that will make the blade quite stiff. So that's rather a strategy for close table drive and smash (preferably with pips)
