Yes, a few years ago, I thought Kuai Man could be a top 5 player but she only have a plan A in her game....fortunately for them , the top CNT top 4 is still young enough...they have +/-5 years to find someone to keep on destroying the others
I think we've been spoiled with SYS and WMY who just shot up to stardom so young so fast and able to maintain it.  Looks like the younger ones like KM and Chen Yi are going to take time.

Chen Yi ain't it. She won't be one of "the ones" in the future. Jury is still out on Kuai Man but the CNT usually knows what they have with someone by the time they are 18-19.

Whew!  That was close... Down 4-8, she held it together and got a little help from her opponent.

Shindong shouldn't have taken the risk of putting a pin in her wrist. Nothing to gain here.

I'm impressed with CSY's game.  She has no wasted motion in her strokes.  In the past she's had some mental lapses, but she was zoned in on this match and once she cut down on her unforced errors, she could not be stopped.  Well done over top seeded Kasumi Ishikawa.

I had never seen Chen playing so well.....and Ishikawa being "taken" so much in her backhand

Her injuries has set her back quite a bit, Kim Nayeong or is it Hayeong is looking better than her of recent, and showing more potential too

Unlike KM, Miwa was unphased by YXX's pips.  JTTA needs to add a spot on the national team for Miwa.

Nagasaki vs CIC
6:0?, 11:4
9:7?, 9:11
Nagasaki blowing G2 is yet another display of "nothing to do with skills".
9:1?, 9:3, 10:3, 10:4, 11:4
2:0, 2:3, 6:3, 6:4, 8:4, 8:6, 9:6(CIC thought it was a let), 11:6

Really solid match for Miyu against former top 10 player CIC.  CIC could not handle Miyu's serves.

QF finish for both here at WTT CT Tunis.

Ishikawa: SF x1, QF x4, R16 x4, 9 stops

CIC: QF x4, R16 x4, R32 x5, R64 x1, 14 stops

One is 9, yet the other is 31, when both are really just as bad.

I can't believe the Chinese won this match, Kuai Man played so "weak".....opportunity missed for the Japanese.
