If the thickness is too great that should be an easy thing for a person that plays in these tours of events to check on. Thanks for the reply. I just don’t get how someone would fail this 2 different times.

Has USA ever advanced out of the group stage / made the final 24 teams before (in a WTTTC)?
Is this time their would-be best result of all time?

If not, what was the farthest they have ever reached (in team event)?

Can’t really compare because now wttc finals is top 40 teams but with continental qualifications. In 2016 for example there were 96 teams in the mens and USA were in division 3, and that was with Kanak, Feng Yijun etc

So I think back in Boggan’s era the team were in div 1 which is significantly bigger accomplishment. To put things into perspective, Kazakhstan were a div 3 team before and England was usually high div 2 around the mid 2010s before the system changed.

Only Ayhika Mukherjee used antispin, Dr. Neubauer Gorilla. The rest were using LP OX.

In your opinion, what are the French ladies’ chances of winning the 1/2 against the Chinese armada? Tongue

You are funny.  Jia Nan Yuan has an outside chance of winning a match. But more likely with the Chinese prep will not win a game (she couldn't beat Mittleham). So it is going to be the usual 3-0 China score. India deserves a unique medal of sorts for taking sets.

Is that still the case? I was told if you boost within 24 hours it can still be detected.

I m kinda confused about this, If I right  the player sent one raquet for testing and played with an untested raquet?

There are some people posting about a racket "switch", but they haven't offered any proof. The story I am hearing is that he turned in the racket before the match, but too late for it to be tested beforehand. When it was tested after the match it failed.

Perhaps some players are better at boosting than others (they don't get caught)

I think the problem is not the solvents its the rubber thickness, There are many substances that are not boosters that can render your raquet ilegal.

Something wrong with the Espn3 live feed for Japan/Hongkong women's semifinal

I can't find it in ESPN's search results. Is anyone watching it live and if so, could you post the espn feed URL?

With Gauzy playing free without pressure and the bros having a point to make, it's the best chance France has had in a long time and they fouught so hard to grab it. History in the making!

Almost came down to a deciding game.

Men’s final will be a rematch of 1997. Christophe Legout, an uncle of the Lebrun brothers, was on that France team.
