Each team has a limit on how many players/coaches/staff can be at the world champs.

No doubt China gets special treatment, and having they own mini crowd.

Interesting. Some countries (USA) that would have no effect on. But I know Germany usually brings a pretty big team. I talked to some of them in Houston at the 2021 Worlds, for both men and women they had brought:

10 players

3 coaches

2 physical therapists

1 sports psychologist

1 doctor

1 athletic director to coordinate

The host always has the biggest crowd. What do you expect?

There should be volunteers selected from local universities that entered the closed-loop, who actually had to go through a 7-day period of quarantine, unlike the players.

JTTA has brought many staff as well this time. It's the number of media that's been severely cut down.

One time, I counted a delegation of 65 for China
Junior level wise, Japan has that big crowd that follows few kids (avg 4 or 5 adults per player)

I wonder if the rent a crowd was allowed for other countries too.
