So are you saying the only reason why Felix beat Qiu is because of playing B and not playing X?
This is getting more ridiculous

Felix, if he is good enough, will win both times.
You put both at C/Z, the  better player on the day will win.
This is called table tennis

France lost because they could not secure match 3 both times. Stumper did very well there to take 1 point.

The french brothers wasn't able to make up for 3 out of 4, and that is why they are out.
not tossing ABC or XYZ or winning 1 or 2, they could not deliver on both days

Are you kidding me? Remember what you posted?

The ABC team got a headstart. Pressure building. How would you feel playing 0-0 versus 0-1?

http://mytabletennis.net/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=92179&PID=1132977&title=wttc-finals-2022-chengdu-9-3010-9#1132977
Quote have you ever played in any teams competition?

toss is so important, in 5 match, 3 win system, wining the 1st and 3rd is so important.

You want to have a 1-0 lead for pressure building, and the win at 3rd is a must.
It is not uncommon to put a stronger player at 3, to guarantee the win, than to risk that stronger player loosing the 2 matches. Rather sacrifice the weaker player and hope yoru best player wins the other 2, to get the 3
If you take part in years of teams event, this should be a no brainier to you, unless you are team China and no matter what kind of roster, you will still win

Injuries and how hard you play - this is normal too.
If it is worth going for it, despite injured, the player will go for it, its been around for decades, not new.

Luck - that's part of the game.

The above is all logic / common sense

But I guess you only here for arguments

Same deal with IND 3-2 GER. Had absolutely nothing to do with ABC team.

you want = part of the plan.

Player needs to execute the plan and that is why teams loose.
Not because of toss

France lost C or Z, so I am not wrong there

move on now

and if it was 2-3 the other way around?
Your logic: Indian player won 11-9 in deciders both times is because he was part of ABC, so he won on the day lol...

okay, so next time we come to decider, just gift the win to ABC

Winning team still won at 3

Now you're telling me if it was 2-3 the other way around? I guess I could just say the same, if it was 2-3 for HKG?

Big alert
Players need to win the match and get 3 points.
If players can't win 3 points, ABC or XYZ, they will loose the teams match.
This is fact and you can't be arguing with facts again.

Just try to move on, i'm about to get busy, you can entertain NL and the others with you running in the same circle

Nice of you to say move on after you misinterpreted first and then said how the toss is so important to get a head start and luck is part of the game and it's all logic.

Ya, your team should've been home by now. Go train them.

Mittelham played first against PUR in R16 and lost, and SXN only played second(first singles as XYZ team?) once against EGY, so it's likely the first scenario would've happened in QF, like against IND.

Folks here keep complaining how I go after Mittelham. I mean, go read what the German folks are saying about Mittelham, for once. I pale in comparison.

As a mod, you should be the one to move on first, don't you think? Instead you decide to go name calling. Should I address you Satan from now on?

If you literally use google to translate your handle from English to Chinese I think, it turns from zeio into god.  And you can call me anything you want at this point, we have interacted for too many years. As a moderator, I try to find the right balance between free speech and contentious conversation and appreciate our regular contributors.  It is just fun to human nature express itself in all its glory.  But if in some language out there my handle translates to Satan, I accept it.

Hayata beat Nina after being 5-8 down in the final game. But no one will ever know how she won those last three points because of classic WTT streaming standards.

Also, WHAT ON EARTH is Germany thinking sending Han Ying against Ito. Put her in position 3 for goodness sake.
