Why the German team has canceled their apperance? Timo Boll will not be on the China Open nor the Korea Open. It would be between China, Korea and Japan.

There's still Wu Jiaduo, Barthel Zhenqi, Silbereisen Kristin and some more german players.

Yes, but I thought on men's part of the team - only FEJER-KONNERTH Zoltan has left in the draw. So it will be less interesting tornament without Germans.

The Germans say that they want to focus on the preparation for the European championships (mid-September in Stuttgart).

But there are also indications that Timo Boll is again having trouble with his back and needs to take it easy...

It'll be on bwin for sure. Bwin even had CTTSL matches. If you have an account, it would be a good idea to follow it from there.

It's today!! At least the top 4 seeds in the Men Doubles and Women Doubles are represented by players from 4 different countries. It's apity we do not see much participation from the European countries who are seeded.

Just a note. Even the qualification stage is being televised, one table at a time.

Yeah totally... Ma Lin needs a boost... he hasn't been playing up to par since the Olympics and World Championships.  Hope he gets past the shakehanders like Ma Long, Wang Liqin, and Hao Shuai.

The list of players is here:
http://www.ittf.com/ittf_tournaments/ittf_entries_web.asp?Gender=M&Tour_ID=1865

Oh actually, there's something wrong currently with the list, and it doesn't show all the cancellations - better check the draw:
http://www.ittf.com/competitions/matches_per_round1.asp?competition_ID=1865&rnd=64&s_Event_Type=ms

Ma Long is taking a break before the Super League finals - next week against Ma Lin and Joo Se Hyuk...

Ma Long is doing just fine currently - by far the best record in the Super League, 30-5 so far... No one can win every match.
