Beautiful, I must say ! Peter your collection might compete silvalis's. Zoranv is still far far ahead thow. I'm curious about the diff in between Ishlion and KC. Could you enlight us ? Also how come you play with violin as you are the happy owner of some of the fastest blades of the universe ? Are Violin + cermet comparable in terms of speed to let's say KC plus sriver EL ?

thnks.

Hello JCDI,
Ishlion and KC have the same woody feel, it's hard, not like Sardius or Schlager carbon. It suits someone who want to buy the carbon blade that has a woody characteristic.
I like the touch of Voilin, but it's not fast when you try to loop or smash.
I'm just curious because so many people in this forum use it.
I'm waiting for Acoustic, because it's faster.
Violin + Cermet glued is the same as KC plus Sriver EL unglued.
So it's an all around blade not offensive as mentioned by Nittaku.
I use Ishlion now, head heavy, slower than Donic Crisan Titanium.

Hello Bordtennisfreak,
This blade is not suitable for japanese rubber or german rubber. it's suitable for chinese rubber like hurricane II or III. Compared it with violin I prefer Violin, because violin doesn't splinter when I remove the rubber. I must use Thinner to remove the rubber. It's very annoying. The speed of Violin is better too. You may try Ishlion because it has a Mixed carbon and Wood feeling. It has a speed of carbon and feeling of wood.
For me Hurricane King is over price, better buy Acoustic or Violin.

Hello Markus. L,
That is Hurricane King.
How's Acoustic? is it Fast? Could you compare it with other famous
brand blade?
Violin is not suitable for me, it's all around blade. Thanks

Here are different bats that I play with (all are hardbats) :

From left to right :

-Tibhar IV L DHT blade + 2 BTY Orthodox rubbers, the one I use in sponge events.
-Donic Opticon blade + 2 ATP Reisman rubbers.
-Dunlop Allround blade (from the 70/80's) + 2 Barna rubbers.
-A Dunlop Barna Original bat.

I use #2 to #4 in hardbat events.
Hardbat is the future of table tennis!

peter79  i tried out many blades b4 like stiga- titanium 5.4, clipper cr&wrb, carbo 7.6, donic waldner senso carbo, friendship dynasty hinoki, nittaku hurricane wliqin. and all these blades has their pro and cons, some are fast but not enough feel and some have good control but too slow. i found the acoustic balance-speed, control, feel, love the music it emits when i smash, and love the small handle. i can make a fist and hold it very loose, helps add extra spin for my bhBig%20smile  i feel the acoustic was made for my playing style, an aggresive attacker.

And older than me too. "OSAKA 1956" is written onto the Stiga Original's other side. I have rackets of the same type because of hobby & these blades are different in head size & thickness.  I use Sss Hinoki & I have another Sss for replacing...in any case.

LOL You know it is the result if you accuse your equipment when you are not succesful. I am convinced that all you know this evolution..buy a blade...play...hmm-good...tournament...you loose...something must be wrong with equipment...buy a new blade...etc.etc.
I found out that "nothing replaces work"
The old Stigas are my hobby
