I am a huge Guo Yue fan and want to get the old signature blade. I would like suggestions on where to obtain this and have a fair price without a fake. Because it is discontinued, all the places are somewhat dodgy, but the prices varies greatly. Also no places include the original box, is that a sign it is a fake?
Thanks!

I didn't know if posting sale links it OK, If it is, those pictures seem to be the same as the ones shown here Which is about the same price as the chinese clones I have seen. I have no idea about the chances it is fake, but that is why I was looking for box. Do you have any suggestion if this would be a good source?

I would think the one from Far East Sports would be your best bet.

You are just guessing based on the price like me right? :) It is a messed up market, where the guy selling the fakes for 50 bucks sells for than the guy selling them for 20. Then there is the site for 99 and a guy on eBay has one for 135 shipped from Australia. I just wish I knew what amount of money gets me the product.

No I just feel that Far East Sports has decent credibility. I have bought items from them in the past with zero issues.

The Guo Yue looks 95% like the STIGA Offensive Classic. The top ply is Limba (Offensive Classic is dyed), second ply is Spruce, thickness is 5.5mm.
Only the STIGA Offensive Classic is more than half the price, and easier to find in stores.

Buychina is the same as taobao and most items are fakes. Also aliexpress also sells fake blades and fake tenergy that looks the closest to tenergy.

Avalox P500 looks also like OC but, IMO, is better in all respects. So probably getting an original KLH blade would be more prudent than guessing whether your Guo Yue is fake or not.

Yeah the problem is I am not buying it to play, I just want the signature blade for collection. Otherwise I would buy a blade much easier to source. lol

Then buy a fake one. The signature on the original blades is also fake (facsimile). P.S. I should suspend myself for promoting fake blades... |

we buy a blade to play it at least once and if we do not like it it has no real value anymore so until we play it it's the best in town, fake or not.

Although I don't really understand this, I don't really play much. So this purchase is much like the purchase of a NFL jersey or a Authentic NBA basketball for me. Just because I won't use it doesn't mean a fake will be OK. I do see the argument that it doesn't matter.
