Here's a list of equipment that the pros use feel free to correct/add to the list.  All this information is compiled from www.mytabletennis.net, www.megaspin.net and various manufactures websites.  Names are organized alphabetically by last name.  Names are read how they would in their respective countries;  Asia: Last, First; rest of the world: First, Last.  Please inform me of any other cultural name stuff.  This is a work in progress.  Question marks represent equipment that a pro might use but is not confirmed by a picture or another member. NOTE:  If you need to know what equipment a pro uses please post here instead of starting a new thread.  The purpose of this thread is to reduce the amount of "What equipment does ... use?" threads.  Thank you.

nah. not any more. he's trying out the new fient AG. I have a close relationship with him. i asked him and he says that he is using the Fient II. But he used to use the TSP Curl P-1 because the team he was in. (Korean Sports army Corps) It was sponsored by Butterfly. He used to use the diode it was called off and made in to Joo See Hyuk. Wat you can get now. But when he moved to KT&G, he was then he was allowed to be Officially sponsored by TSP. It's a long story but, he was finally able to be with his mates from the army and so to the SAMSUNG LIFE team. This team was mostly sponsored by Butterfly, therefore he is now sponsored by Butterfly.
I dnt know of this is true but i heard he is trying to become sposored by Xiom, Same as Ryu Seng Min. AS for the SAMSUNG LIFE team is now partially sponsored by XiOM

if he is sponsored by xiom he will switch to their tensored long pips then?? I know he used to use TSP Curl P-1 and he switched to feint II, but I read on a korean website (Daum cafe) that he switched back to TSP Curl P-1 very recently after playing with feint ii. How recently have you talked to him? Also, I was interested in training in Korea, but do not know of any big places/schools related to table tennis. If you can tell me of any that'd be pretty cool.

But if he was trying out feint ag, then butterfly would clame sponsorship to that, but they only say that they sponsor for his blade and fh rubber

Rodewan, There are many places for you to train in Korea. That's where i got to know lots of players and Joo. Kim Taek Soo, some how uncle helped me to go in. i couldnt stay long because of the strict rules. But if you really want to go there, I just need to know some details. ty. ill Pm you

What do I get from knowing what pros use? Any advantage or useful? if not, this's a useless topic....I guess.
Stop arguing and go practice.

Don't we have this topic like...........100 times?

People can find out what the pros use but have to do some searching around the forum to find it.   I'm just summarizing the all the information.  If this thread can get stickied, finding that information will be much easier and hopefully the masses of threads wanting to know "what equipment the pros use" should go down.

I support the idea of knowing what professionals are using... Thumbs%20Up I'm sure these guys really know what to use to fit their styles... If you have a similar style, you can have a good clue of your setup should be...
