Has anybody on this forum had a chance to use any of these rubbers (GP or H). Any reviews or feedback (High throw or Low, Spinny or not too spinny etc) Thanks!!

I used both rubbers before the glue ban
Back then in terms of speed GP was faster however in terms of spin i think that they were very similar i do not remember what the throw angles were because it has been almost 2 years since i used them last Because you can not use speed glue, i would recommend GP if you are a looper(because of the softer sponge) and H if you will mainly block, push, with the occasional loop(because of the medium-hard sponge) |

mambo H is nice and spinny about medium throw but much too heavy. you're better off getting something else. mambo gp is lighter and pretty much a 1st gen tensor-like rubber. lower throw and much faster. it lacks a bit in the spin department compared to H.

Joola Mambo GP is a good backhand rubber, it's spinny and easy to control, the speed is reasonable but it's lacking power for the forehand side imho. It plays like a medium soft japanese rubber, not like a tensor.

i hearded mambo gp doesnt have enough grip. the ball just slips when you play bh with it. and i dont think its a suitable fh rubber either. id rather look into the newer generation of joola rubbers.

Mambo GP is not a tensor rubber. These are made in Japan. From my standpoint these are low-throw pretty spiny ,but not too fast rubbers.I also want to say that these last much longer vs german tensors. If you find them for 30$-then it is a good deal.Paddlepalace had these on sale for 31$ recently.

I played w/ Mambo H and for me is a great rubber, I dont loop a lot , I have a topspin & smash game. medium hard sponge & short inside pips make this rubber realy fast. |

I used it for Mambo GP 2.0 as backhand late in 2009 and it was hard at first. However, with some playing in, I found the top sheet spinny and the rubber helped my control.
It also is good for hitting.
Please note that it comes in an cylindrical package and I found it hard to uncurl.
