Does anyone know what kind of Anti rubbers the Indian girls were using against China? The ones who beat SYS and WYD

I don't think any of them use an anti. From what I recall, they both have long pips/medium pips. And I think Ayhika has a short pip on fh for attack while sreeja uses a regular inverted rubber.

Why not? The pic you posted is not very high res... But here at around min. 2.01 you can clearly see that the handle shows the lens and the design of one of the FZD blades: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_jLpV27Yozs It does look like the regular FZD ALC (or maybe the Super ALC)...but one thing is sure: it's not the Stiga Infinity... |

Based on this picture (Giangt's) it is clearly FZD series. Now whether the composition is different we will never know but it is unlikely to be customized. He is sponsored by BTY so no point in having to hide his blade composition.

It's a completely different rubber and much faster than ABS2, ABS3 or Scandal. Check out reviews on Gorilla on OOAK. In a nutshell, it's a much faster and more difficult to control anti which requires a lot of practice and also a different game strategy. With Gorilla the ball comes back fast at your opponent so you take time away from the opponent. Like I said this requires a lot of practice! With slow antis such as ABS2 or 3 you have less disruptive effect but you are much safer and control is much higher. The strategy is more like dropping the ball short to force your opponent to push so you can take over control of the point and attack.

There is mention on one of the Chinese YouTube channels, that Mima Ito, is using "raw" pips at the Singapore Smash now. Curious if anyone knows if she has changed her backhand rubber. Does anyone know ?

Raw short pips are uncooked, and usually called classic short pips. They are less bouncy, less sensitive to incoming spin, and produce a deader ball. Most of the short pips used nowadays are cooked, that are much more bouncy and produce much more spin. Bounce a ball on Friendship/729 Legend 105 and on Andro Blowfish. The difference in bounce height and sound of the bounce is very obvious.
