+1 Very nice Power Drive. In my eyes one of the best Butterfly all wood blades ever. Construction is: hinoki - rosewood - ayous - rosewood - hinoki. Primo Powerfeeling is a 7-ply blade with limba outer veneer and also without rosewood. So it is not really "similar" Edited by Magic_M - 01/02/2014 at 2:39am |

Magic_M, thank you for writting the composition of both blades. I just was telling that the thickness is similar, not the construction
I woulkd like to try the Power Drive but i am in love with my Mazunov xDD

Thank you friends! I can´t say how much i paid for them because i traed them for some "normal" blades plus some money. But its price should be more than 200 euros for each one, i think.

Can you imagine anyone trying to market a 106 g blade today? The trend really is to make them much lighter. I personally like my blades right around 90 g. Increasingly that is difficult to find with popular Butterfly blades.

I personally don´t like light blades, you can´t feel the ball like playing with thick, solid and heavy blades. I allways play with >90 grs blades. More weight is more power!

I play with a Taico T-100 from the competition series, it has the same composition as the Butterfly Power but its head size is a bit more compact yet its .77mm thick but only 86 grams, seems to have more then enough power for the modern game so I wonder about weight and thickness and how each element plays out.
