You probably know this, but FWIW for your friend:
The LSW is flexible for its speed, helping spin, so it pairs well with relatively harder rubbers (e.g., 50-degree or harder on forehand) for Looping. Emrathich, the Chinese-trained on-line coach, likes this kind of blade (not hard carbon blades). The blade is also slightly larger than the typical Butterfly Offensive Blade (158mmx152mm). I switched to an IF Layer ALC (157x150) to save a little weight due to a shoulder injury. I suspect the IF Layer ALC.S (thinner, slower, spinnier) or IF Layer ZLF would be decent alternatives to the LSW, although they're 157x150.
