I play once or twice a week for the last 2.5 years. The last year I've been using andro kinetic supreme off - blade. Its light, I like it. But the last month or so, at the end of the night, my hand starts to really hurt. It's like the skin where you form callouses, right below the fingers is being pinched. I seem to have formed one callous but thats really it.
Is the blade handle too thin maybe? I think i will bring some moisturizer next time I play.

There are two culprits at work here..have you sanded the lower sharp edges of the lower wings? Also if the handle is to thin this can lead to cramping and hand fatigue. Lightly sand and round those sharp edges where your hand contacts the lower part of the blade. It amazes me how many players do no sanding at all.

I would think you may be gripping the blade too tightly. Try to relax and loosen the grip on the blade!

How many hours do you play each session ? Grip pressure definitely plays a part in your hand soreness. After playing, try doing some hand exercises - rotate the hands in a circle, wiggle the fingers, open/close your hand/palm or even squeeze a squishy ball. Definitely do these at night after you play & the next day or two. Depending on your age, the hand does naturally get sore after vigorously playing, just like the rest of your body. Note: please consult your physician if the pain persists
BTW: nice blade you're using

My blade is smooth, i dont think it needs sanding. Maybe I'm gripping too hard.
It's purely a skin problem, not the muscles or joints or anything. It happens at the end of the night, but usually after a break from playing. I'll start playing again and instantly my hand is hurting when it was fine before.
