Is the tuned rubber last forever or just for several months?

this is my projection about this rubber.

normal tuning makes the sponge softer, and streches the topsheet making it bouncy... tus making the overall combo good for loops.

this will make the sponge denser harder and the topsheet under compressive force..

so it will be good for flat hit... blocks, may be pushes also... :)

Are there any problems sticking these rubbers down with the VOC free stuff? A brand of glue I tried recently never seemed to dry fully and when I tried it on some reverse domed rubbers they kept lifting off in the centre.
Always ready to test a sample for you TTrubberman of course.

when you say tuned, will they pass the enez test? or is it just like speed glue effect with vocs..

3 years ago I expanded by 15% a globe 999t (bought from cole) and stappled it on a piece of smooth plywood (smooth side of rubber facing plywood). Then i applied glue on the pips (the way cole explains on his site) and I simply glued a piece of expanded sponge on it (I used and still do D-Limonene). I felt like I had a cheap and fast looping rubber. The problem is it is very tricky to 1) keep the same rubber characteristics during the lifespan of the rubbber (juice it again every 4 or 5 days) and 2) get consistency from one rubber to another.
I did it twice and it was fun but I gave up because of those 2 problems.
Today it seems that parrafin oil is the key. You know all that it can be applied on the topsheet (VERY good cleaner!!!) and it will expand the topsheet. Also it will go THROUGH the topsheet and inflate the sponge a bit WITHOUT HAVING THE PROBLEMS OF PARRAFIN OIL TAKING DAYS TO DRY. However it will be soon illegal even though there is NO WAY the enez  detects parrafin oil.
Are you messing with parrafin oil on the topsheet ttrubberman?
