After reading a lot of different post about cleaning the rubbers, preserving and protecting them I started thinking; One could guess that they are made out of... hmm, difficult, but I go with rubber! So, if rubber gets old I have found that ordinary oil (the ones you use in food, dont know its english word...crapper, hope you still know what I am talking about) could exspand its lifetime. Now I am curious, would it perhaps have the same effect on the rubbers used for TT, and would it be legal? Note, I am talking about giving it a quick sweep with it and then dry clean it, not letting it soak in oil!
Any thoughts on this matter?
