sticky top sheet + ESN elastic sponge
Many hybrid rubbers have been on the markets for a while, but recent ones are more promising? DHS Hurricane 8 or 729 battle 2 are affordable and play decent.

originally, hybrid rubbers were Chinese topsheets with Japanese or German sponges. Now people use them loosely.

I tried the Hurricane 3 in 37° and boosted it. The catapult effect became huge and still maintained some tacky properties.
The result? Horrible, awful and poor control. If you want to boost a Hurricane do it with 39° or 40° versions.
