Hello! Very good beginning of year for all.
Does someone use DHS water VOC free glue?
Is it better than the free chack of butterfly?
A greeting. Fran.

the one in the bottle is better than the one in the tube. the bottled is much thinner and easier to avoid dry lumps if u know what im talking about. also the bottled one is easier to peel. the easiest to peel is stiga power attach.

bottled one is the 50ml or the 500ml refill bottle. That's the thinner version. Condensed version is put in the tube which is the 98ml container. That's used to complement intensified rubbers.

500ml doesn't have the applicator. But it shouldn't matter either way.

I think you should try the 50ml one first... if you like it you can buy the 500ml.

I have used both Butterfly Free Chack and DHS 15 glues. This is what i can tell you about both.

Free Chack
1. Easy to apply on rubbers and blade because it is quite watery.
2. Removal from rubbers is hard but not impossible. Thumbs will get sore and you have to be patient.
3. Removal from the blade is easy. Just peel or wipe with a slightly damp cloth.

DHS 15:
1. Easy to apply on rubbers but applying on blades needs some practice because the glue is not watery but thicker like syrup. So if you take too long to spread the glue, it tends to get lumpy.
2. Removal from the rubber is much easier then Free Chack. It most cases, you can peel and pull off most of the glue.
3. Removal from the blade is also as easy as Free Chack. Peel or use a slightly damp cloth to rub off the rest.

I recommend you use a brush to apply the DHS glue instead of the sponge. The brushes in the Haifu bottles are great for this.

You can use art brushes as well but you need to get the right type of bristles that are fairly firm and about 1 inch in width.

I'm running out of my BTY Free Chack and I might consider using this glue since I don't have options because dealers are finding it hard to find BTY products here.
See you guys in the next life!...................

DHS 15 is a good alternative to Free Chack.

Need to practice spreading because it tends to get lumpy when you take too long to spread it.

Easier to spread on the rubber but on a sealed blade, you have do it fast.
