I presume he got it from presports. 80g - 85g for Acoustic is just sweeet!

I got a Fl acoustic from presports at 84 grams.
I got a St acoustic from paddlepalace at 78 grams.
I got a Fl violin from paddlepalace at 82 grams.

Please keep in mind they're not all for me, but . . .

paddlepalace has a couple light ST available and presports has a couple mid-80s weight acoustics. Tell 'em both Tommy Zai sent you!

why suddenly there were these Acoustic/Violin crazes? Paddlepalace.com has quite a few Nittakus which r really light, what a surprise!

(Sigh) then I shouldn't have rushed to buy before. My Violin C-pen is 84 grams. If I was more patient maybe I could have got a lighter one. Maybe like my Violin J-pen reversible (72 grams).

Sorry, I made a mistake : my Violin C-pen is 77 grams. (84 grams is my Darker Speed 90 - 9 mm)

Your single ply is better. It is 76 grams isn't it ? Maybe it is the second lightest that I have heard of (the first being Ryno's).
