Ludeack!

I've owned both shakehand and penholder versions. I've had them displayed and played along side nearly every other high end Nittaku blade and other manufacturers for that matter. IMO they are simply a higher quality, better feeling, better playing blade than even the lovely 5-ply ACOUSTIC or VIOLIN, not to mention 7-plies like the CLIPPER, P700, and the rest.

The Ludeack is a beautiful blade. If you have been looking for a blade that's a combination of the Acoustic and Clipper in price, quality, and performance . . .
Go with MR. LUDEACK.

Ok, it's true I have one for sale, but the main reason I created this post was because I'm in shock that nobody is interested in the second nicest blade I've ever owned at a cheap price . . . it's blowing my mind!

I think the Ludeack is underrated . . . maybe because of marketing or it's name. If it was called something else it would be the one to buy.

BTW, the Ludeack also comes in a "POWER" line, which I have.

So, yes, this is a plug for a blade I have, but more importantly it's an Equipment DECLARATION!!!

The Ludeack in both SHAKE and PEN is Nittaku's BEST blade!!

:-).

Absolutely.  Next time I want to sell something, I'll be sure to create a "World's Great Blade" thread about it.

The craftsmanship on the Ludeack is excellent and the handle is so comfy. I just wish I had the skills to handle it. :-(.

I'll keep that in mind, but I'm pretty sure I'd be holding on to my favorite blade, and would be selling the others first.

How does the Acoustic compare to the Violin?

I will say, though, the Ludeack is on my list of the 5 Nittaku blades I'd like to try.  The others are the Tenaly (doesn't really matter which one....I just want to try the handle), The Wonderblade, the Acoustic (which should be arriving at my doorstep very soon, if it's not already there.), and the Violin.

The acoustic and violin have the same quality craftsmanship. They are from the same line; however, the acoustic is stiffer and faster IMO. The Ludeack is a very nicely designed blade. I think it's underrated. I love the feel of it, but it's too damn fast for me at this point in my cpen career.

Hmmm...Nittaku has the Violin rated as being faster than the Acoustic.  The Ludeack is supposed to be in the same speed range, but has way more control.  I not sure how they managed that, but it makes me really curious to try it.

Well, I'll take your guys' word for it, as you all seem to have played with both blades.  Nittaku, however, lists the Violin as an 88 in speed and the Acoustic as an 86 in speed.  Maybe, the person doing the rating wasn't as sharp on the day he rated the Violin, and he just thought that it was faster.
