thanks to all posted constructive criticism, but I'm over it.

Lock it and keep it as an example of why you shouldn't post video.

I was suppose to post the HK video first but fruit loop is playing me on Tuesday night fixtures so thought I'd give him something to study. I have a feeling he may well beat me this time.

There's a few things wrong there, Wrist being obvious but the rest of the swing is a bit beyond me today. I might look again later. It makes boz's forehand look very solid in comparason:, I think that's the main problem, everything is just too loose and flopp. Anyway it's only early days for him, I can remember being the same and trying to hit everything off balance et. Time will cure everything :)

No really the forehand is ok, your getting plenty of pace on it..... just that somethings not quite there and I think you can easily make it alot better than it is allready, You'll figure it out yourself looking at the video easier than I can

Boz, just wondering. But did you video any of the HK games? I have some uploaded but I doubt my $80 digi cam will pump out videos anywhere near your high quality vids.

yea i had a tiny tiny few snippets
I think i was greedy in playing and not recording
i was just so keen to play like a man in a dessert without water lol

i would have a bout 20 seconds tops sorry

For people first seeing Fruit play, I have a strong belief he is has big future unless he gives up the sport.

I've watched him advance in the last couple of years and you can just tell when someone is naturally gifted at athletic/skill hand eye coordinated things it doesnt take long.

I believe he will be playing at the top level of our club within the next couple of years.

he is quite a character old paul.  He has a strange way of selling his tt products and dealing with people, quite an element of loudness and a touch of arrogance.  He said a few negative remarks about someone from our club I care not to repeat.

Anyway I am not interested in commenting negative remarks when its in such a public place.  The least I will say is I am not fond of the guy past Australian Champ means nothin in that light.

Great Vid production!      Looks sweet.   I like the 2nd and 4th camera angles.   Try lowering the camera to better show how big your loops are.  Put the camera at say chest to head high off the ground so it is just higher than the table height.

Looks like a fun and balanced partner for you to hit against. Thanks for the video.

A couple of dudes trying to play like pro's, editing usually brings out something good, you guys struggle, even with the wizardry of editing, you can't produce a rally of 7+ strokes without a mistake. I would not say that you are bad players, but you are pretending a little.

being a pro does not require that you become flawless in rallying.. tell that to Ma Lin.. plus they are playing at a very nice level.

are you trying to play like an amateur? a bit odd.  we all try to play like we know we should.

As for wizardry you are right, I edit out service return errors most of the time or when someone clean misses a point for no reason.  There are no 5ths or 7ths unfortunately this time, my arms hurts even to go for a 3rd.

If you have a look at an almost full match of me playing on youtube you will see that there was no wizardry.

Most the people on this forum have the ability to post here and yet they don't.   Why is that?  Maybe they are pretending that they can play more than they really can too?

APW, where in the world did they try to show that they are playing like pros? this is a forum and people can post videos of themselves playing here. for the benefit of the doubt you can kindly not give them the bad judgement pretending like pros.. they posted the videos and they were having fun and enjoyment with that, whats wrong with that notion?

I dont see how you can expect a player to be playing like a 'pro' given the amount of time involved in the sport. This is a training video to see first hand technique and tactical errors so that i can improve my game further. Even in matches against decent level players my points dont last very long yet i dont see how that is an issue considering a fault and a counter looping rally are worth the same numerically. It is all about improvement not for your personal eye candy.
