Tsp used to have one. Yasaka do. Both may be extinct.
729 god favored was one. The double fish a1 isn't too bad. I'm not sure what if any of the former are still around. |

Xiom Tau, Palio Thor's(as mentioned above, got it myself. Pretty darn fast for a tacky rubber), Juic 999 Turbo is suppose to be pretty good aswell. Read that Haggisv himself was fond of it.
Basicly anything with tension in it with a "chinese" topsheet is faster than the Hurricane/Skyline series at low gear, but should be about the same at higher gears.

Among my super tackiest the fastest are H2 Neo, RITC Tacky Speed 2000 MRS, TG3 Neo.......
Among my tacky ones-999 EN,Thors, 999EU, Higher I...... Anyway tack and speed for me are quite contradictory qualities

That's completely wrong. Tau is a tacky Chinese style rubber. Just as tacky as H3 neo and I doubt anyone is going to claim that H3 Neo is not a tacky Chinese rubber. |

really dont think its as tacky as h3 , even neo. im not saying its a bad rubber. im just saying its its more of a take at Chinese rubbers IMO they did a better job with vega china. you can actually feel the similarity there.. where as with Tau its more of a hybrid nether here or there

I agree topsheet tau IS a tacky chinese style one. But the sponge cant be considered chinese, and does not react to booster like chinese does. I think tau sponge is a hard ESN sponge, but i could be mistaken

Since you didn't mention Chinese, thors tau and Vega China are the fastest, thors probably the fastest of all, none of these are super tacky. Its much faster than any Chinese tacky rubber. The fastest Chinese made tacky rubber is probably still the original red diamond which isn't super tacky either, all above have similar tack to the modern dhs rubbers

H3 Neo isn't as tacky as H3. Neither is close to as tacky as my original Apollo. I doubt any rubber is as tacky as my first Apollo from about 3 years ago but my second sheet of Apollo was that tacky and a real disappointment.
Tackiness slows down the rubber. The force that holds the ball to the rubber must be over come and it subtracts from the force that accelerates the ball. |

in that case probably TG3 old topsheet if we are talking unboosted if we are boosting then its a close one between any of the Hurricane/skyline family and old topsheet is a must the new ones just dont feel right

Fast and Tacky is not a bad idea at all. It is just hard to do with the current regulations. If it still existed probably Transcend SP or even some Wang Nan would probably be quick enough with some booster. It might even still be on my bat too.
It is all relative really. No Tacky Chinese rubber is going to be considered quick when compared to other quick rubbers on the market and as soon as you mention 'super tacky' then you are going to struggle to find anything with real speed.

PF4, it is the "end" !!!
http://www.eacheng.net/index.php?act=detail&ID=1197 PF4 secret weapon of china players, really Champion Maker. Best beloved rubber amongst china champions in the years 70-80's. You will be more than lucky to get 2,0 mm version. |

Lets get something straight. TG3 is not super tacky and Red Diamond is MUCH faster than TG3, either unboosted or boosted, boosted Red Diamond is probably the fastest rubber on Earth, it's highly reactive to tuner, even baby oil. PF4 is super tacky as is apollo, geo spin tacky, three nine. etc. None of the super tacky rubbers are fast

My 2 cents....
Tau is def tacky chinese style TOPSHEET. If Hurricane 3 Neo was on Steroids it would be Tau. Similar throw and strokes with only minor adjustment required. I find Vega China Black to be Tackier than the red. Ive played extensively with Vega China. It is a good rubber. It is not super fast. I actually found it to be on the slow side, unless you stick on a super fast off++ blade. On Xiom Aigis (all+) I found Vega China to be to way to slow. On Xiom Strato (off++) Vega China felt great while most other rubbers were way to fast for my taste. Xiom Strato is a beast in the speed category. H3 Neo feels pretty good Aigis (all+). Not superfast, but its fast enough. H3 PROVINCIAL boosted with SEAMOON, I've tried this only on Xiom Aria(off +) It felt great with excellent speed and spin. In my opinion the speed China < H3 NEO < Tau = H3 Provincial boosted with Seamoon. |

Does anyone agree Red Diamond is arguably the fastest boosted ? How about Friendship SST Pro Team boosted or not boosted ?

the problem with Red Diamond in my experience though is that every single sheet is very noticeably different. Some of them are very grippy, some tacky with no grip and dead as a rock sponge.... some really lively. I ordered it remembering how great I thought it was, and what I got was bull crap in a package. I've had 4 sheets. All very different. Which sucks because the good sheets are so good. Edit: I'm boosting a sheet right now to see what happens.

If it makes a difference... I boosted up one of the 11 dollar commercial H3 sheets.... as in non-neo commercial, and it still plays very well.
