How do you tell the difference between DHS H3 National, Provisional and Commercial version? It is just the DHS and serial number stamps, or the 2 cuts on the corners / uncut corners?

Here's a pic of what I have :

National Version

Front

Back

Provisional Version

Back

Also, is there any difference in how each rubber plays? I haven't tested both rubbers yet....

That's a good looking H3 National there. The front label and lazer serial code look exactly to my TG2 provincial except my have 2 coner cut.

I have been looking for National with reasonable price but no luck. Can you tell us where did you get them from ?

yep. That's how you get nationals. People on this forum should not be looking for nationals from this forum. You need to know people in China just to get a pair. Provincials are easier to get.

Looks like your National is the 2006 version. I lacks a few stamps that I've had on my National rubbers, but I'm sure you'll be able to tell the difference once you've played with it.

Your Provincial is the 2007 version made in March. It should still play fairly steady. Let me know how they play. Excited to see another forum member with National/Provincial Rubbers. It's unfortunate how many people don't know about Provincials or are told by people who sell commercials that provincials and commercials play the almost the same.... Sigh...

actually don't let us know, since it will only add to our EJ addiction! Even worse is that its impossible for us to get National Version and most of us will probably have to be institutionalized the rest of our lives because of this epidemic! LoL jk

Exactly! I've infiltrated the China camp!!!! mwahahahahahaha!

j/k! LOL

I haven't decided on which blade to place this rubber to. I'll let guys know how it plays once I've made my decision on that....and I'll put out a warning sign for EJs before my review, cagaragesales! haha! LOL

Anyway, has anyone tested the rubber before?

i have both  hurricane provisional n national. my rubber same as picture above. the national version has no cut at the side. the provisional version has,  both are good rubber. i observe that the national version is better in term of control and spin. it looks more solid than the provisional version. i bought the national version from my friend who work in a table tennis shop. i test the national version for the first time yesterday. it is more stable n easy to play. for  sure it doesnt not produce extra speed but maybe extra spin :)

Adib, I'll let you try the rubber after I've decided which blade to place the rubber on. Well, not so soon, though...hehe! Wink

...and nice review, Nashron. Thanks for sharing it with us! Smile
