Here are 2 BTY Viscaria blades with exact same weight (86.5g) and exact same blade frequency (1485Hz). Only difference are the wood grain and pattern and blade B is a shade darker than blade A. Which one do you like better?

I did. I even bounce the handle on my forehead. B has a tiny bit more vibration than A.

Yea, my head is obviously bigger than the pp ball. I learn this handle bouncing-handle-on-the-forehead trick from a 2670 player. You can hear the tone and feel the blade vibration. Try it.

pgpg: What better scale. Fish or weight 86.5g is about as good as I want it to be.
mhnh007: "Why settle for B when you can have A????" ...Because I only can play with one at a time. Which one would you settle for? I truly value your opinion. Just like my friends value my winning pick in the super bowl, then they'd always bet the opposite and lose. |

Only one thing to do. Buy them all. Remember, the CORRECT number of blades to own is N + 1, where N = the number you own now. (Except when the correct number is Z - 1, where Z = the number that would cause your wife to divorce you).

Leftstudio: which one smells/ tastes better? My DS90.
Baal : (Except when the correct number is Z - 1, where Z = the number that would cause your wife to divorce you)... There's the probability of that happening even with an N + 1.

If you did bounce the ball than you should buy the one that you liked the most. Personally I like blades with minimal vibration and not too stiff...Also it's important the handle. There are normally litlle differences in grip. I like more the bulky one because my palm sweet a lot plus that from big you could obtain small but not vice-versa...

You're asking a lot, without being able to feel the blade in my hand, it is a toss up. For instance, I have 3 blades, nearly identical in weight, one has a slightly larger handle, enough that your hand can feel the difference. It has become my favorite. I choose B, just because.

Definitely not B! Look at colour distribution "white" vs yellowish. No, not B.

Based on my biased observation and considering that both have the same weight, I would say that A would feel a bit stiffer than B (judging by the look of the grains on the surface). Just by my biased experience testing a lot of blades. Based on your Skull-Handle-Test, you also confirmed that B has a bit more vibration, so I guess A is indeed stiffer. So it's back to you, do you like stiffer and less vibration blade (A) or less stiff and a bit more vibrating blade (B). For me, I would choose B (function-wise). But cosmetic wise, A looks better.
