Thanks for posting that Ty.
Wish I had someone else here to play sandpaper with.
What grit is typically used? Is the black sandpaper wet or dry type? What type of blade is usually favored?
Do you use 40mm or 38mm balls? |

I just use a medium grit sandpaper I picked up at Walmart. Just plain old general purpose sandpaper made by 3M. Nothing fancy.
I think a medium speed blade is nice. I use a larger head blade. Two years ago, I tried a fast blade but it had little control. We used 38mm balls at this tournament but most of the tournaments have been using 40mm balls. The 38mm break alot less than the 40mm balls. I just adjust to whatever the tournament uses. I had to bribe players at my club by offering $20 to anyone who could beat in order to get some interest going. I lost some money but got a small group playing on a regular basis now.
