I often hear chinese commentators talk about the backhand small triangle, or controlling the backhand small triangle. Can someone clue me in on what this is? I most recently heard this during the ryu-liqin match in slovenia

 I also heard that...I believe it is the spot approx. 1/4 off the center of table n under the player's playing arm armpit???? |
