I have questions about the blade Joo Se Heyuk :
I want reduce weight to blade Joo Se Heyuk. I want change a cork ST handle for reduce weitght. Is a good idea? What is the cause so the wood weighs so much? the handle? the head? What LP are most suitable for Joo Se Heyuk? - Feint Long 3 0.5mm - Feint Long 3 0.5mm - TSP Curl p1R 1mm - TSP Curl p1R 1mm |

It's from the oversized head and wood. Most of them are 100g or higher. I had to shop around to find my 91g jsh

I've been using JSH for quite some time... Couple of thoughts:
- Yes, they are heavy. I have three, and all 3 are between 101 and 103. They can weigh even more. I have personally not seen any (that haven't been altered) below 99-100. - They are not heavy when assembled. With pips on one side and tenergy max on the other, my setup is never above 178-180g. - If you want to reduce the overall weight of your JSH setup, simply glue your FH rubber a notch higher, leaving a small gap between the handle and the rubber. This would save you a few grams. - If you are ultra obsessive about weight reduction, don't apply edge tape, don't seal your blade, and go with a thin single layer of glue. |

i bought one of these, don't know why. I find that it vibrates. Good for chopping but not good for counter FH. I use ALC blades and everything vibrates to me when i try it, even ZLC. If i were a chopper, i would rather use ALC even for chopping..

If you change for a cork handle, you will have a more head heavy blade because the balance will change. Not everybody likes head heavy blades, especially if you use a heavy rubber for your forehand for instance. The lightest JSH blades I have had is 95gr. I have never seen a lightest one but I'm sure it is possible to find one. If you use LP's in OX version, you will also economize some grammes. Otherwise, you could make the head downsized by a few mm's and then decreased the weight by a few gr's

With all from OX till 1,5mm, depending on your game...if you want more déception, take an OX one, if you want more control, take one with 1mm or 1,5mm. The more deceptive is the grass d-techs and the more controlable is the long III
