Today aganist Cestas was 3-3, Ryu lost to Liu Song from Argentina.

Best of 5 matchs are really dangerous for some players and also these other guys in French league are used to play aganist Kreanga and Ryu.

The main reason is that Ryu doesn't play all the macthes and Kreanga had an injury and also the third and fourth players are not that good too.

Also don't forget that only one non-EC player can play in a specific match. At least that is the rule for European club competitions. It is probably same for French Superleague?

Ahh! I did not know that... just (incorrectly) assumed they were not French.

Hou was not at his best yesterday evening. He clearly had better days. He closely lost to Mattenet and has troubles with his forehand. Counterloops and 'side chops' were crap (going straight to the net or far away from the table).

Honestly, he was totally lost in his own game, nervously throwing away his sweat on the floor while the score allowed to use his towel... Same music against Fejer-Konnerth, but he finally won 11-9 in the fifth set, roaring out his frustration... what is quite rare for a chinese.

Commentators said Hou lacked international competitions. I saw him play against Angers team, a few weeks sooner, and he was a totally different beast. Absolutely unbeatable! Serves and chops were sharp as razors ;). His H3 loops deadly.

Speaking of Ryu, it seems to me that he is quite lazy. Speaking of Hou Yingchao, Ryu got destroyed by him in french superleague, loosing the ultimate game without really trying to win it... The korean has clearly lost his sportive motivation.

yeah, i'm thinking the same about ryu.  i think he's lost his motivation.  also, he might be tired due to all the running he's had to do up until now...

Also while Hou lives in Paris, Ryu has to travel every macth, sometimes he arrives just one day before the match after a very long travel.

He plays in Belgium, not France.

Hennebont's Wang is called Wang Xin, and is much weaker.
