excellent game between WH and WLQ, specially wang hao, he keeps attacking the backhand of WLQ, i say his strategy paid off, but damn WLQ's forehand loops are unmatched, even though he lost, its one of the best games of wlq in a while

thank you geca, janus and crawsaive for tirelessly sharing videos to the community, got to admire the dedication hands downSmile

Ma Long is simply unbelievable at the moment.   He still needs to maintain this form for 10 more months for the Olympics.  :-)

If I'm not mistaken Maharu is a junior player, I've seen him playing in SYOC (which I think he won) and he has an extraordinary level, he just has some lack of tactics right now. So, in my opinion, expect more from him :)

Ma Long is at his fastest and deadliest. If only he played like that in Rotterdam...

If LGL decides to send him to London, I know who I will be rooting for...

2008 olympics men's single gold medal winner - Ma Lin, has zero chance to go to London next year to defend his title.  IMO.

Lost his very first match in two pro tours is just too much.
(Harmony 2011 China Open and 2011 Swedish Open.)

I think, before the Olympics, Zhang Jike and Wang Hao will rise their forms, and Ma Long will drop.

Can not imagine that Ma Long is not in the running one of the two spots to be sent to London.

Seems that the runnerup of these swedish open were tired by their high profile semi final opponent.

Ding ning and Wang Liqin drained Liu and Wang! :s

I'm not sure ZJK has gained the coaches' trust for London. But neither has Ma Long. The two prolly will compete until May next year...

Anyone has Wang Liqin - Zhang Jike match?  It must be a good match too.  I wonder how Wang Liqin defeated Zhang Jike since I think Zhang Jike would attack Wang Liqin backhand significantly.

ITTF doesn't have it - perhaps CCTTV5 was filming it but to find out about that someone needs to go and mine the Chinese TT forums...

I don't know about Zhang Jike and Wang Hao but I do wonder how Ma Long keeps his optimal performance like right now before and during the Olympics in London.  His style is very physical demanding and don't know if he can keep it until then.
