Yes, it seems to be working. However, the downloaders still cannot capture the video clip!! How is that possible? I thought that downloading from YT should be easy with any of the standard downloaders... can anyone help there? Perhaps there is some easy downloading process from YT that will work with these videos?? |

Replay Media Catcher 4 does the trick for me, but only with Google Chrome. Also when I watch the videos through the "main IOC channel" it doesn't work either. I have to access the individual videos for downloading to work. Hopes this makes sense, otherwise let me know and I will see if I can explain it in another way :-)

Well, I installed the RMC 4 (Demo version but it is supposed to work with all YouTube videos), turned it on, and loaded the Timothy Wang clip from OG (see 2 posts above) in my Chrome and... nothing. isn't it supposed to start recording it automatically as soon as it detects the Youtube videostream? Maybe some special settings that I missed? |

I had no problems to dl yt vids from http://www.youtube.com/user/olympic/London2012 with normal http downloaders ( ex JDownloader ) in google , firefox or IE . Also multiple matches like : MT-QF JPN-HKG full Matches 7.34 GB WT-QF GER-JPN full 3.12 GB What we need is a method to rip the "not edited" videos , which are the original http live streemings ; ex MS-Rd1 MACHADO-ARUNA 55:26 , or WT-SF1 and WT-SF2 , or WT-Bronze and WT-F , ( these ones trasmitted by piligrim66 and by DenKor29, but at low def , and lacking in DeLL HD ) . I suspect olympic will edit only 2-3 min highlights . What about nbc replies ? ALL downloadable or not ? |
