Given the undeniable popularity of the Butterfly Viscaria blade, I thought it would only be appropriate to create a dedicated club for everyone that loves this classic blade. To become a full-fledged member of this club, all you need to do is upload a picture of your Viscaria(s) for everyone else here to appreciate.
Some come on in – show off your Viscaria(s) and join the club... fresh brownies and cold beer is in the back. To get things started, here's a picture of my Viscarias (or Viscariae/Viscarius/Viscosus, for Tiny): For a bigger version of this picture CLICK HERE. — Current Club Members: 1. Pondus 2. jt99sf 3. zeio 4. mhnh007 5. tiehwen 6. kakapo 7. Timo1978 8. Dean 9. Giangt 10. Emihet 11. TKMP 12. Edizg 13. Johnny Erasure 14. finspin 15. dannyreventon 16. Navin323i 17. That handle looks like a Sardius/Intensity Carbon handle with a Stiga sticker. Am I right Rene? |

Seeing that the word Viscaria is a Latin form created by botanists, can we say that the plural is Viscariae?
Or maybe Viscaria is already plural, so one blade should be Viscarius or even Viscosus. ok, ok back to mi rum :-) Edited by Tinykin - 04/15/2014 at 5:46pm |

This exclusive club is for those who really treasure, keep & play with their Viscarias", right? It's the offshoot of that Moth Club. I'm a diehard member of that "Moth" Club.
So, John, this club is not for you. You, like some others, belong to that "Flipper" Club.

btw, Pondus. You're the Honorable Founder, Chairman, CEO, COO or what-have-you of this elite Club.
There could be more beside the above quartet, I would've dug them out & posted them if I knew where my lady hid the "rest"......

Great photos tiehwen and kakapo... the club is growing rapidly. Before you know it, we'll need to arrange for membership cards, matching club shirts, and secretly gather to collectively adore our Viscaria blades.

some time ago I owned a viscaria....
but I sold it, I think now it's somewhere in the uk. what I have now is a donic persson carbotec which is pretty similar. I'd say deep down every viscaria is a persson carbotec wannabe |

Pondus, what a great idea
It would be an honour getting the chance to join the VIS-Club. Here are some family pics of my old version VIS-Ladies (1993/96 and 1997/2001). |
