I hope that non-UK posters can see this.

It's not too inaccurate. It had me as most suited to Athletics throwing events which I did do as a youngster.

Which sport are you made for? Take this test

Take 30 seconds to dash through the 13 quick questions in our sports quiz and we'll have our best stab at suggesting which events from the Commonwealth Games could match your physical and mental abilities.

I wasted too much time trying to find the link. The correct answer probably wasn't on the list.  It is American Football,  I played defensive tackle in high school but that was a long time ago in a galaxy far far away.

Cool... I tried the quiz and i'm made for Judo, table tennis and badminton. Guess it's true. I'm pretty good at table tennis and badminton, at least better than I am in other sports. Never tried Judo.

This was a great signature until I realised it was overrated.

Table tennis, badminton and squash.

Good coordination and agility, focused, but lacking endurance.

1 - Badminton
2 - Squash
3 - Hockey

What's interesting is that of things it said I might be less suited for is Athletics (sprint) while throughout my life, the ability to run fast is probably my greatest asset. Go figure. :)

WTH, this is not accurate at all.  Athletics (long distance), Gymnastics, and Boxing?  I can bike long distance, but I can't stretch or flex much, will definitely pull my hamstring.  And as for boxing, never tried it before and don't want to get knock the f**K out  LOL

I think there is a big difference in what athletes are physically or mentally suited for.  Physically I would make a perfect 5K runner.  Mentally I absolutely hate distance running.

1. Marathon TV movie watching - Recliner division

2. Afternoon napping

3. Mall Walking

It is obviously a flawed quiz.  No way I have the needed endurance for Mall Walking.

Maybe I should go back and check my answers :)

Finally got to hop on a computer with Java..anyway
1-Cycling (sprint)
2- Diving
3- Swimming

Funny because I am a cyclist and did a little bit swimming back when I was somewhat in shape.

Badminton is expensive? Where are you located? A lot of schools and community centres in North America have it for very reasonable (or free) usually couple of times a week.

I am not sure why the program lists Squash over Tennis - wonder if Tennis is even included in the list of sports.

Why have I never achieved greatness in any sport?

    1. Cycling (long distance) - perfect, apart from the fact that I have no (repeat, no) fast twitch muscle fibre and just can't turn the pedals over fast enough to keep up with anyone, little old ladies included.
    2. Netball - perfect, apart from the fact that it's one of the very few sports I've never tried (hint: it used to be a female only sport when I was younger)
    3. Triathlon - perfect, apart from the fact that the only fish I swim like is a flounder.

The one sport where I have consistently performed above average is marathons, but I suspect that the quiz dropped that one as soon as I said I was tall.

    Less suited for:
    1. Gymnastics - true: I have all the grace of a folding ironing board
    2. Boxing - true: I can stand anything but pain, and I'm as aggressive as an agitated hamster
    3. Diving - true: that water down there looks very hard to me.

Is there a way to see how you rank in every sport? I got:

    1. Netball (wtf is netball)
    2. Athletics (jumps) -- like, the long jump? Great fun there. Ermm
    3. Judo

    I am badly suited for:

    1. Distance running
    2. Gymnastics
    3. Weightlifting

I'd like to see where the sports I actually care about fall, like basketball, soccer, TT, baseball.

Oh - boy, I believe Net Ball is a ladies game. Basketball without backboard. Not sure if dribbling is allowed, I think you have to pass after 2 steps. Very popular with the British ladies - I believe!
