Well, what to make of THIS?
http://en.butterflymag.com/2015/03/win-test-easy-ball-40/ The rare, lesser-spotted Weener ball? Also - epic level trolling of BTY to use eggs in the scratchcard game. Mad skillz. Edited by AndySmith - 03/25/2015 at 6:47pm |

This was a great signature until I realised it was overrated.

Hope springs eternal. Yes, this could be the second entry to the seamless category.

There are two ways of looking at this really. One is BTY have tried to produce a German seamless ball, failed, but the product is good enough for training/robot purposes. The other is that it's a first step towards an ITTF-certified 3* ball. Are you a glass half full person??? I've entered the reverse egg hunt competition anyway, so I'll report back if anything happens.

It seems that if you live outside Europe, you win every time! I'm just going to contact our insane Prime Minister to ask if we can join the EU.
BTW, I couldn't see any mention of seamless in the blurb. And the glass is 100% full - half water, half air (in this instance, probably hot).

As far as I've read, the weener Poly Ball is supposed to be with seam - apparently its been approved already as well, as the most recent list shows a "Tribax" ball, plastic with seam and made in Germany:
p.s.: just checked and Tribax trademark is registered to Weener Plastik company Edited by tt-panopticum - 03/26/2015 at 8:56am |
