I shipped my paddle today through USPS air mail, through usps priority box. Came to be about 6.40$ for a 170 gram paddle.
I was wondering, how much would standard cost from NY to TX? Also, where to get the right size boxes to ship your paddle? |

1. 170 grams is about 6oz and it would cost about 3.00 for first class shipping to anywhere in the United States. No built in insurance.
2. If your item reaches over 13 oz, then its best to ship by priority mail flat rates boxes or priority mail flat rate padded mailers. Parcel post costs more and slower than priority flat rates. Please be aware priority mail flate rates and regular priority mail is different. Priority mails flat rate slogan, if it fits it ships. Built in insurance in some instances, but please ask your local postal facility for exact insurance coverage. You can add insurance to both 1&2 if your items are high in value for a extra fee. You can signature confirmation upon delivery for a extra fee too. This is the cheapest way to send items domestically in the U.S. Ship at your own risks...USPS is not perfect... have lost many packages over the years. If it's over 13oz package weight there is no first class available. I've shipped premade buster or lower end blades first class a lot of times back in the past. I put them in a plastic blister pack like a premade would hang in. Out of 100+, I only know of one tweaked.

Because the Priority Mail Padded flat rate mailer is quite roomy. So you can use a small box for your TT goods and then place the box inside the mailer. I do this all the time with my goods. As i have stated before, Priority Mails Flat rates sloga is "If it fits, it ships" I have never had issues as long as your can seal the padded flat rate mailer. Go to your local post office and ask for a Priority Mail Padded flat rate mailer. They are free as long as you use there service, but they will only give you a few at a time.

You can modify any small sized boxes by cutting them down to a smaller size. Just measure and see if it fits in the padded mailer. Most original stiga, adidas, butterfly original racket retail packaging fits in the padded mailer just fine. As for the tourney, i lost in the semifinals of the under 1800 event. I will try again next month.

No, you can think of the hard plastic case that a premade racket might hang in by a peg.
