What's a 40+ rubber? Is it when the manufacturer says it's designed for the 40+ ball? Do you trust them?

A 40+ rubber is what a manufacturer says is a 40+ rubber, if,it is or not, I dont really care...do you understand the purpose of these database? Is just to gather "what the manufacturers call a 40+ rubber", nothing more, nothing less.
Personaly I dont use none of these new 40+ rubbers, but someone may whant to know.
