has anyone tried taiwanese hand made japanese penhold blades? they look quite interesting and not cheap.

i did not use. my fren bought one penhold jap style and one shakehand. Both are very thick and powerful and they love it. But for me, not suitable as my playing style is different.

oh ive seen that blade from taiwan as well... quite rough built... some what like borko customs made...i cant get the name of those blade, the name is in chinese markings or something... and i would say the veneers are made up of some asian wood and the top coat are some sort of fibrous or composites material.... layers of soft and high density wood. the price is quite hefty but the feel is great though... samdeliman, perhaps you can buy one and post the review for us... |
