My PD437 is 7mm, hope the picture below helps :-) The blade is not stiff at all, it's not like it has any hard layer or special material in the layers.

In terms of flex how is this blade compared to other 7 ply blades? |

Cole, are you considering carrying this blade, or should I track one down elsewhere to try?

The 437? I am probably going to order some (although the weight is a concern) but it will be a solid month before I have them

Qualizon, aren't the red inner plies usually hardened ayous?
That said, I agree that the blade is neither hard nor stiff.

Yes, the 437. I'm in no rush, I would just prefer ordering from you than tracking it down on a chinese site. |

yes, i think the red plies are supposed to be relatively harder, but the overall feeling is not hard.

Cole, I will be in the market for another one if the weight is close to the 92gr one I got (89-93 range). One of the players at my club seemed real interested in getting one after he hit with mine. Mark

i think this kind of clipper blade is much better compared to the yinhe special s-01 blade which is much more expensive and slower.

Well, sounds like I'll carry them. I love looping with mine but I'd have to way readjust the rest of my game to use it for real.

Impressed with my club mates Yinhe pd437. Very nice blade. Supposedly it is 92 grams, but does not feel heavy w his set up.

I know this is an old thread but do you guys try STN in red or black. I have had a black sheet but Megaspin say the red is higher throw and tackier and spinnier. I was not too sure about the black it is very very spinny and is definitely faster than H3N at driving type shots. I thought the throw was low without brushy loops.
I think I might like the red and have ordered one, think the red will be a nice backhand rubber if I can push properly with it and tight. |

The red target national is slower indeed but tackier.

My red target became so tacky that it is so sensitive to incoming spin at least h3 is not as tacky as the red target

ok, in that case I might not even try it. I struggle with that aspect of H3N but like the spin I get on topspins.

bit off topic I am currently jumping between Andro ligna off and TSPW.
Do you think I would find the Stiga Eternity an improvement on TSPW, is it still a good looping blade, would it be a touch quicker. I would probably be using H3N both sides? I like H3N on ligna but its too hard in general play. |

i have been using this blade for almost 2 weeks now, i find the blade a little bit stiff but not so stiff like carbon blades, it has soft feel and little vibrations, control is good but not excellent, speed is fast, the fastest wood i have tried, im using short pips 802-40 cpen, it comes 84g only maybe because of shorter handle of cpen, i think this blade is good for those who want fast wood blade, dwell time is almost none maybe because of my hard sponge on 802-40 2.1mm, i think this blade will feel more dwell time if paired with softer sponge, anyway its a good blade and fast

running back by this thread , I thought I would add that the weight of the last couple of batches has gone down to a normal range of mid-to-upper 80s.

I have a racket with sanwei target provincial on one side and sanwei t88-I on the other side.
the target is really sticky but it's easier to block than with t88-I.
