HANNIBAL: A smooth, well-balanced Hinoki carbon blade that is also good for short pips-out attackers. This blade seems quite similar to other brands' normal Hinoki surface blades, but with a smoother center ply. It has a very good feeling as if it were an all wood blade. The purpose of this blade is to make a Kiso Hinoki surface blade with a carbon layer, as many other brands produce, but with a natural wooden feeling. Hannibal is 86g/FL/lightly sealed, lightly sanded wings for anti-blistering, and has a couple teenie tiny dings and a slight indentation that will not affect playing. $200 shipped with insurance to USA from USA with no box (add $5 for box). Even sweeter. ;-) This is a lovely blade. It has the feel of the 1990s Butterfly models. I'm really surpised it's not sold yet. Nexy Oscar sells fast for more money, and this one is even sweeter, IMO.

very tough for those Moth-lovers to bail out of that huge bandwagon for any of these Nexy-what-have-you....they look like they're drugged to stay on there...

Yeah, I'm a bit surprised. This is a excellent blade. It a lot like those early 2000s Butterfly models in thickness, material, feel, and performance. Shoot, I'll end up with 1/3 if I'm lucky. I really just wanted to find a good home for this and get a few bucks.

Both. It's not a combo blade.

I've been EJing for about 10 years on MYTT. Some blades go surprisingly fast, and others take a bit of time, but this one baffles me. It's on par with the blades you mentioned above and in good condition. I'm basically dumping it into someone's hands . . . just want to find a good home. I'll give it another hour or so and then pull the ad. Strange!

When you sacrifice something, it always feels better if a friend takes advantage. After shipping, I could take Ying out for lunch. LOL I actually preferred Hannibal over Oscar. H has a sweeter handle, for one thing. I also like the richer color of the wood. |

This may be the only time I failed at selling a blade . . . and a great one at that! Perhaps it's time to hang up my rubbers. LOL
