Hello,
has anybody tested this blade? The blade composition is similar to the previously discontinued Noveliar, however the head size is bigger than of the latter.

Seems like there are not many reviews about this blade. I was interested in buying it when it got released (big fan of septear) but I play penhold and it's not available with penhold handle (yet). You guys should buy this and give us a review. It's japan made nittaku, so quality should be top notch. It's got 1) hinoki so feel would be good 2) carbon, speed will be good, and, it does not look very expensive. I think there's too little room for disappointment if you buy one

Some Nittaku blades are not available in penhold (even less on J-Pen), however you can always order custom made, but the price is higher by 50% I think.

Ordered one. I was a Septear owner in the past and when I was looking for something non-BTY and up to 6mm thickness hybrid blade this one came into my eyes.

Recived the blade, FL handle and 86gr. Finishing is very good, like other Made in Japan Nittaku blades.

My first session I compared it to a black tag 87gr Viscaria. Both with same rubbers (Pro GT X51 both sides).

Hardness: SC > Viscaria
Stiffness: SC > Viscaria
Control: Viscaria > SC
Speed: SC >> Viscaria
Throw angle: Viscaria > SC

Septear Carbon is a really powerfull blade. Feeling is very natural, not muted like some ALC blades. Its stiffness and hardness make it very easy to block and play close to the table. Loop-Drive away from the table need more effort to make a good arc or high throw rubbers.

I found Target Pro GT X51 a little bit hard on this blade. It would be more balanced with 47-48° hardness rubbers.

More to come after match situations untill saturday.

Hi Monteiro,

I can't find any review about GT X51. Can you tell me something about it? Will it be a good rubber on an absolum off+? And what about a original butterfly Gergely? Im at the moment playing with h-47.

Sorry because it is off topic here, but as I said, I cant find any review of X51..

Thanks!
