I mean we can't compare an apple to an orange. However if you compare H3, H2 vs TG3, TG2 in the same quality and hardness, then the result would be reliable. Have any one done that seriously?

If your point is that DHS quality control is awful and the number of fakes is problematic and 3x different H3 are so different that you can't compare them reliably to anything else, then you win the thread.

Lets do a blind test and see some funny results. Just cut off all bottom part with name, 3 H3 will give u 3 different results. And if you indicate which one is Tg3, Tg2, H3, then you will have the idea why you have to only trust yourself. Man, H3 can have sponge hardness from 36 to 42+. Pick a D42+ H3 to compare with D36 TG2 and write a wrong review...

having spent weeks if not months with each of those rubbers, i was basing it on what i found similar. The throw discussion carries forward to the NEO series as well...

Okay. Lets have a look on the pips structure. Does H2 topsheet look like TG3, seriously? Tg2 topsheet is similar to H2. Don't trust the review, do it yourself.

That is incorrect. It is more accurate to say: TG3 plays like H2 (both low throw, quick attack rubbers) and TG2 plays like H3 (both higher throw, continuous loop rubbers). |

There are 2 types of Reviver, one for Chinese rubber which has orange and eucalyptus smell, means stronger effect. ANW, 2 types are suitable for H3.

I don't think this is entirely true... The neo sponge is pre-boosted but it's entirely different topsheet and sponge |

Sorry, I have only tried H3 and TG3. Based on what I read online TG2 and H2 are more difficult to use. Harder sponge and lower throw but that could also mean they're more deadly in the hands of a strong player.

I already have the green bottle of Reviver and also the top sheet Reviver. Is the green bottle of Reviver suitable for H3? It works really well on Tenergy.

While you are still in VN, use Haifu Whale or Dolphin every time you play. There is no ITTF rule in VN as everyone use speed glue and hiding serves. H3 neo is the boosted version of H3. TG3 is slightly different from H3 while TG2 is similar to H2. If you go for booster, choose Reviver which is available in Saigon.

TG3 vs H3 - TG3 has lower throw I found it a bit less forgiving. I didn't do as well with it away from the table but it was slightly better for flat hitting. Spin was great and I didn't find many major differences in this department. I prefer H3 becausw I found TG3 awkward though I had a friend (penholder) who played better with ot. Perhaps it's because I like to play further and he has much stronger 3rd ball over the table than me.
Provincial vs Nittaku H3 - Nittaku doesn't react as much to boosting as the DHS versions. No other major differences aside from this except I found the Nittaku's topaheet kept its tackiness for longer. I know the ittf number is the same on both topsheets so this shouldn't be a factor but that's just my observation. Due to it reacting better to booster I prefer provincial. |

I've browsed through the old threads and couldn't find exactly what I was looking for. I was think about getting H3, H3 Neo, or TG3 and boosting one up just for fun. What the heck are the differences between these rubbers after they are boosted? The only one I've tried is boosted H3 provincial #20 sponge, which was on my friends blade. I only had a few hits with it, but it seemed pretty damned good. Anyone have some insight here? Should I go ahead and buy the provincial or Nittaku versions? I'm not buying it as my main setup at this point, just something to fool around with. However, the provincial or Nittaku versions aren't that much more expensive. The price difference is minimal: 35 dollars vs 20 dollars.
