I heard Nittaku Acoustic is pretty good. Btw, does more feeling means more vibration, thus less control on blocks? I believe that more flexible blades have more feeling thus capable of producing a lot of spin, control on shots, variation on serves, etc. but lack control on power game like rallies away from the table or blocking powerful loop. Am I right?

Feeling is relative to the player. Some find that stiff blades have more feeling that flexible blades.
In my opinion, you can still block hard loops with a flexible blade, I've done it several times. Knowing what your equipment is capable of doing is probably key.

if i was you i would go for a stiff blade with a soft outer play. Like gergerly, or most hinoki carbon blades. A good compromise of stiffness and softness so its easy for you to play with. Gergerly is easy to play with and its considered one of the fastest blades. u can block powerloops easy with it

Violin has very good control. It is said that Acoustic is a bit faster, so perhaps it has a bit less control.

Did you visit the website of iruiru lately ? Now Darker has Speed 90 in shake hand version. The picture looks very nice, but the price is more expensive than Tanpan. |

Gergely is definitelly faster than Acoustic. I would say that Gergely is an OFF+ and the Acoustic is OFF. Gergely has a stiffer construction being less vibrant having better consistency during close to the table game .
If you are interested in thickness, Gergely is 7.0mm and that of Acoustic is 5.7mm . |

Are the darker 5 + 7 ply blades made with hide glue? And do they have a feel similar to acoustic?
