Just a few points from the Wang Hao, Matsudaira match to report that Wang Hao wins 4-1 without much trouble. This was the round of 32. Hao advances to the pre-quarterfinals (round of 16)

I'm surprised he got out of the first round, just squeezing through with a 4-3 win over Chen Feng of SingaporeClownLOL

Yes, he is quick and he has unique services. But at the very top level, he is vulnerable to attacks at extreme angles and at the switch over point. Wang Hao demonstrates this amazingly well.

Am I the only one excited about Samsonov vs. Wang to see if the old man has anything left?
