Is this site still active? ive sent them an inquiry, but they haven't responded back. I even had my coworker "Japanese national" translated my message and had it sent. But they have yet to get back to me. Its been about 36hrs, and i dont think it takes that long to respond to an email especially if the language block isnt even there

Any ideas?

I would use the form on the website to send them an inquiry (is this what you did maybe?)

What's the difference between the ZJK and the ZJK ALC?

And difference between ZLC and Super ZLC?

Well I haven't tried ZJK ALC since it's not yet released. But I suppose it's Viscaria with different handle. Butterfly has discontinued Viscaria for japanese market a year ago when I bought ZJK.
They said ZJK is the replacement of Viscaria.

But ZJK is not Viscaria, it's a bit harder, probably due to the factory sealing.
Meanwhile ZJK ALC use the same wood handle material as ZJK with the shape of Viscaria. So ZJK ALC has the shape of Viscaria handle with rough finishing of ZJK handle.

I found Viscaria handle shape is better than ZJK, but the wood material is a bit soft, so the handle would become smaller when we hold it tightly. ZJK handle has harder wood, it's not affected no matter we hold the grip tight or not.

Difference between ZLC and Super ZLC:

I think Mizutani is now using Super ZLC on his blade...

Thanks a lot!

So Super ZLC is more dense, probably harder, more powerful and creates a bigger Sweet-spot?

How do you know the shape of the handle is the same as Viscaria for ZJK ALC?

Super ZLC average weight is 90 gr, ALC is 86 gr. Mizutani only 87 gr. Timoboll ZLC only 85 gr.

The mixture between carbon and Zylon is much more compact in size, the result it more stable.

I owned 4 Viscaria FL, now only 3, so from the picture of ZJK ALC above, I can tell it has the same head size and handle shape as Viscaria Wink
