Hello friends,

Could someone share here what are the differences between the old tag M.Maze ALC and the new silver tag M.Maze ALC.
I received some info before that the old tag Maze is little more thin and slower with more harder feel. Is this true?
Thanks in advance!

The old tag michael maze seems a bit thinner viewed from the side.
As for hardness, i feel the silver tag is harder and faster. I can't be sure as i have only tested maze old tag once. I didnt like it, i still prefer my heavier and silver tag maze Big smile

Interesting.  I have noticed the same trend with Viscaria.  I have an old black tag one that is distinctly thinner than the newer ones I have use.

I believe the trend is to suit the water glue era. Blades are made thicker to make up for the loss of power due to the transition from speed glue to water glue :)
The size of ball may matter too, i'm not too sure if the smaller balls are still around when the maze blades are first introduced... I'm not so much into history... haha

Ball size changed in 2003, glue ban came in 2008.  So if it is a systematic change, it probably coincides with glue ban, since my black tag Viscaria is from right around 2008.  I never use that one anymore.  It feels a bit slower, and maybe a little bit more flexible, but the main thing is the handle is smaller.
