I also like old BTY Mazunov and Cresail.
Mazunov is a beast among all-wood 5-pliers.

You can add Tibhar Match in the list. I used it sometime ago and it's very balanced and cheap :D

For a more offensive blade, Xiom Aria would be my current love.

I just got a DHS PG9 and loving it. Much better feel than PG7.

By far, the best 5 plies all wood blade is Mazunov (even the best all wood blade... or even the best blade), especially the old yellow, no series and no logo blade, with yellow planchonelo outer plies. Absolutely amazing!
former tester and collector, now just player

I respect your opinion but disagree. For me the best overall is the old Clipper cpen.

but there 's no way to get an old clipper without breaking the wallet and some brands dont make cpens, I think there must be some 7ply stiff   DHS blade  that replace the clipper  since many CNT players have played with it

I'm not quite sure, but I believe it's one of the TG7 variants. TG7-BL I think?

I recently discovered the Xiom Offensive S which is a very good and powerful 5 ply blade.
