Hi, I play with a Yasaka Gatien Extra and Mark V on my backhand. But my old sriver is not cutting it anymore, and skyline 3 is shyt. So the question is what rubber to get? I loop alot, even when im not supposed to. great short game and terrible blocks/counters.

New Era is pretty spinny but dies out pretty fast if you're constantly looping.

I am also using H3 now but found it is only good for looping if you are 100% ready to loop. If you were pushed to loop, then it can't provide any power at all. Thinking of changing back to Bryce. In future would like to try Hammond X.

I think Bryce is good for anyone who wants to use European rubber on a wood blade.

I think some kind of a bit softer chinese rubber would be most suitable... maybe some of the tensioned ones... haven't tried any of them though...

I can comfortably say that the Stiga Magna is a great FH rubber, great for looping, spinny, fast and has good control for pushes as well as blocking off the bounce at fast pace.

This is my own opinion but I honestly believe it is the best rubber I have looped with and have used.

AZNp.  ; try nittaku jowaldner for your fh - you might like it because from my experiance it is easier to block and counterloop than sriver otherwise it is very simular to sriver,i think jowaldner has softer top sheet so ball sinks in and catapults

I used Sriver before, and I admit that I like Cermet quite a bit better. If you're looking for a Sriver replacement, Cermet has just about everything but better; better mechanical spin, better weight (if you're like me and like lighter rubbers, anyway), and better speed.

I personally didn't like Tackifire-C much. It seemed a lot less durable as people make it out to be, and unless I had been cleaning it incorrectly, the tackiness wore off in about 2 weeks. Oh well. Best of luck!

Now if he hqas a problem buying Sriver why do you suggest Cermet which is almost 2 times the cost.

Destroyer is a rather good looping rubber, Faster/Transcend is another one as well or try Cream/MRS for a good all-around rubber.

i have mark v soft, it is softer, due to obvious reasons, it is much more spinner, more dwell time, but the short game and rallies are about the same. Im not sure about durablility cause, my mark v is new and my sriver is old.
