hi i just ordered this blade and was wondering if anyone selse has played with it before or if any one has played with stiga blades and could tell be about some of their technology in their blades

the reason i got it is becasue i wanted to try a lighter blade that was not that thick aswell and this blade is only 5mm thick and just under 80 g so it is lighter and thinner then my currnet set up but anything you have to offer about stiga would be great

Most Stiga blades, including the one you ordered, have WRB handles that are hollowed out. This makes most Stiga blades head heavy in balance. However, I have played with the Tube allround, and since this blade is so light, the balance isn't too extreme.

I like the Stiga Allround Classic without WRB much better because it is much more balanced. If you like a light one, go to your dealer and select a light one. My Allround Classic without WRB is about 75g if I remember correctly. I use it for coaching juniors and it's a wonderful blade. If I have to stop speed glueing in the summer of 2008 I'll give up my Schlager Carbon and Bryce and I'll dig out my old Stiga Allround with Mark V max again (or maybe some Chinese rubbers). I don't like Tensor rubbers. So I don't have a choice. I have to go back to my roots
