Hi.

I would like to know if anyone has video clip, website link or something that teaches how to use Long pimples effectively, ie. the way for long distance chopping and any other ways of playing that could be helpful for Long pimples player.

Considering we're the minority, unity is the strength Wink.

I would also like to ask, what if your opponent don't play any spin at all.. how do we tackle them with LP ?

Cheers.
Kyle

I dont have it, but look for the dr neubauer training video. He ''explains'' very good how to use long and short pimples very effective.

Ding songs trainging video is pretty good for that. But it is in Chinease. Where did you found the neubauer?

Ding song uses short pimples.

I used to do this back in the eighties. Just groove your stroke, and dont go further back than you need to because its the speed of the incoming smash that helps you to chop it.

If your opponent gives you light topspin its difficult to chop with lp, so you should step around and drive or kill this ball. Only normal or sp are good for heavy chop against light topspin ball.

under what circumstances would you consider to change from LP to normal rubber ?

I might consider to change .. but a bit reluctant. Reason being - I find it hard to control LP, and my opponent can smash the ball easily. In order to do chopping against loop, you need to be able to run (fast movement) since it's far from table play..
