How to remove the residual glue from the blade?
Is there a trick ? or is it rub, rub and rub some more. On a side note: I read somewhere on this forum that Some blades come sealed already. Is TBS ST in this category? |

Use appropriate thinner, or apply an additional layer of w/b glue with enhanced intermolecular bonds.

put a thin paper on your blades playing surface than iron it :) glue will stick to the paper and your blade will be glue free...

I used paraffin oil as a thinner. This way I removed the glue without bits of sponge. Be careful because paraffin oil it makes the sponge softer, put only a layer or two.
